Straight A Training

In September 2009, The Victory Services Club, a Tri-Service Club for serving & retired members of the Armed Forces, was awarded the ‘Individual Unit Award’, and ‘Innovation in Retention & Talent Management Award’ at the ‘Caterer and Hotelkeeper Best Places to Work in Hospitality Awards’. The club, in conjunction with Straight A Training have achieved these presitgious awards by demonstrating their commitment to the training, development and retention of its staff. On the 1^st of March 2009 Straight A Training celebrated 10 years since the company was first set-up by Jayne Raftery and Matthew Nutt.  Since establishing the company in 1999 Jayne and Mat have built a training company which provides both government funded vocational training in addition to other non-funded courses, focused on providing the best possible learning experience for our students! The preparations for this high profile awards ceremony at the Radisson Mayfair were just as exciting as the event itself. For the first time Straight A Training was given the opportunity to present an award for The Most Improved Learner.
