Public Sector Apprenticeships

Overview

Public sector businesses are run by the Government and are funded with taxpayer’s money. These include businesses such as the NHS, Councils, Emergency Services, Schools, public transport, public education, law enforcement and many more.

Public sector organisations are businesses set up with the aim of providing a public service rather than making a profit. Within businesses and departments, they include a wide variety of jobs and roles.

Why look for apprentices now?

We support the public sector with a variety of programmes and apprenticeship standards such as Business and Administration, Facilities Services and Management, Hospitality and Catering, and Leadership and Management.

One of current growth areas is in Facilities Management, in the public sector; supporting learners who manage and maintain buildings.

People always need to eat, and have somewhere to relax during their working day, therefore Hospitality and Catering standards such as Food Production, Hospitality Team Member and Hospitality Supervisor are popular apprenticeships and programmes.

We work closely with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, offering the opportunity for our learners to study for a standalone qualification
